today i learned the Oshkosh NGDV (next generation delivery vehicle) looks like this because the USPS contract mandated that the cabin must be tall enough for a 95th percentile male (6'2) to stand up but low enough for a 5th percentile female (4'11) to see over the hood

The newest models of the US Postal Service (USPS) truck may look funny but the design is thoughtful and user-centered. A really good example of user-focused product design.

That’s some brainy art!
It’s an image of the “dentate gyrus” - an integral region of the hippocampal formation. It is responsible for the formation of our episodic memory as well as the exploration of new environments. It is, therefore, part of the system that gives us autobiographical and episodic memories.
So if you remember this image, your dentate gyrus is activated.
