This is issue #58. Here’s what makes 58 an interesting number:
Atomic number of Cerium - symbol Ce and the second element in the Lanthanide series
Cerium was named after the asteroid Ceres which was initially considered to be a planet at the time.
58 is equal to the sum of the first seven consecutive prime numbers
2 + 3 + 5 + 7 + 11 + 13 + 17 = 58.
58 is the international country code for Venezuela
It’s the product of 2 primes - 2 × 29 - hence a “semi prime”
It is the fourth Smith number whose sum of its digits is equal to the sum of the digits in its prime factorization (13).
